| Thurisaz Thurisaz symbolizes a journey that is about to begin, but that you are presently standing before a gateway, a place of non-action, and all you can do is to look through, as crossing the threshold would not be fortuitous at this time. Thurisaz is the rune of the Norse god of War, Thor. This rune indicates that once you have confronted yourself, acknowledged that which is hidden within, then with a crystal clear conscience it will be time to cross the threshold with confidence and sure step. Know that in crossing the threshold you will be required to leave behind the past, with both it's joys and sorrows.
