There are many ascribed
formats of runes, Celtic,
Egyptian, Saxon, Norse to
name but a few.

Which are the "Real"
runes - for this you must
do your own research for
I am not a scholar, just a
small Glasgow woman
with many interests.

and have also been claimed to be the ancient Celtic form of writing, and secondly just because I happen

Wunjo
One of the most beneficial of the runes,
embodying Joy & Light. This is a fruit bearing
branch, normally covering a span of a year. It will
usually indicate that the time of travail is ended,
and that you are now free to receive Wunjos'
Blessings. You are entering a time of spiritual,
emotional and material gain. All is looking well in
your world. You will see things with a new
clarity, and this may cause a change in plans or
goals.
Reversed or Merkstave: Everything becomes a
test, all things are slow in coming to completion,
frustration and toil may lie ahead. This is the dark
side of a positive rune, but know that even in the
darkness there will be times of light and
happiness, and these should be cherished as
milestones on the path to a brighter future. Learn
from what created these points of light, and use
the knowledge to create many more.
