| Runes. An alphabet from history, prehistory almost. There are many ascribed formats of runes, Celtic, Egyptian, Saxon, Norse to name but a few. Which are the "Real" runes - for this you must do your own research as I am not a scholar here, just a small Glasgow woman with many interests. The Rune of the Spirit Warrior.
He who most often has the battle with the self,
but also he who will in time emerge victorious.
Also known to the Ancients as the Sky God, he
embodies the spirit of discrimination, of clear
sign, and ability to cut through the dead wood
and arrive with great speed at the heart of any
mater. The Spirit Warrior has the knowledge that
the universe always has the first move, but that it
lies within his or her abilities to more than
effectively counter. The reward of patience is
worth the wait. This rune embodies masculine
energy, the Sun and contains a powerful urge for
conquest often self conquest. In response to
romance, it indicates that the relationship is both
timely and providential, and that the bond is a
real one.
