An alphabet from
history, prehistory almost.

There are many ascribed
formats of runes, Celtic,
Egyptian, Saxon, Norse to
name but a few.

Which are the "Real"
runes - for this you must
do your own research as I
am not a scholar here,
just a small Glasgow
woman with many
interests.

As I make no claim to
being a teller of fortunes
or one who can see the
future, anything you
derive or define from this
section of the site you
bear full and sole
responsibility for.

Note: Runes have been included in this site for a couple of reasons - firstly they were the ancient Norse
and have also been claimed to be the ancient Celtic form of writing, and secondly just because I happen
to have a personal interest there. Please note - all runic items on this website are for education,
dissemination of information and enjoyment / entertainment only.
Raido symbolizes a journey, often involving
communication, union and re-union. Often
concerned with the attunement and bringing into
harmony both sides of a coin, making the sides
realize they are separated only by a very fine edge
and are therefore, in fact, not so truly different after
all.
Inner worth is a principle foundation of Raido, the
worth of the being that you truly are and would
strive to be.
Do not work to justify that which you would have in
your own mind, but be open to true communication
and honesty, for such lies the way of peace and
fulfillment.
On your journey to honest communication with
yourself, you will inevitably meet resistance from
within, but if you choose you have the will and
strength to overcome these doubts and recognize
them for what they truly are. Regulate excesses
and bear in mind that material advantages and
possessions are fleeting compared to the life of the
spirit.
