history, prehistory almost.

There are many ascribed
formats of runes, Celtic,
Egyptian, Saxon, Norse to
name but a few.

Which are the "Real"
runes - for this you must
do your own research as I
am not a scholar here,
just a small Glasgow
woman with many
interests.

As I make no claim to
being a teller of fortunes
or one who can see the
future, anything you
derive or define from this
section of the site you
bear full and sole
responsibility for.

and have also been claimed to be the ancient Celtic form of writing, and secondly just because I happen

Laguz symbolizes a pathway or a journey that is
likely to flow well, embodying as it does the
attributes of water, that which flows or conducts.
This rune speaks to immersing yourself in the
experience of living, without the need to evaluate
or understand. It speaks to the satisfaction of
emotional needs and to the awakening of the
lunar side of your nature. It often signals a time
for cleating, reorganization, or re-orientation, that
which you need and have known for some time
you need but yet for obscure reasons have been
unable to acknowledge. This is a rune of the self
that relates to the self, prepare for self
transformation. The outcome is likely to be very
beneficial, in the fairy tales of old it was where
the prince and princess lived happily ever after.
Merkstave or Reversed / Widdershins,

a strong caution against overreaching, striving for
too great a gain, and be conservative until this
influence is released, as boldness and
recklessness will not now pay dividends, but
more likely bring disaster.
