Hazel
I qualified as a nurse and worked in the
cardiac unit of the NHS in Glasgow until
circumstances forced early retirement on
me some years ago. I have had time to
work on my music, and have enjoyed the
privilege of playing with and in the
company of several talented musicians,
the most recent of whom (to name but a
few) are Tom Dahill, the very entertaining
Bob Reeder, Eddie Delahunt, Tandragee
and of course special friends at
Tullamore.
I play guitar and sing these days, and if you like the music contained on this website, and choose to purchase the right to download it, I truly appreciate your generosity

I do consider myself VERY lucky, singing has helped me see and experience many places, from my native Scotland through much of Europe, parts of Asia, Australia and North America, to St Croix in the Virgin Islands, with each and every one having a special place in my heart.

If you are ever in the area I am, or locations where I'm scheduled to play and sing, stop by and say "hello".
Please feel free to stop check the website often, there will frequently be new music to hear.

Places I've Had The Good Fortune To Visit
Starting with some of the most recent, the picture here
was taken at "The Waves" on St. Croix, in the US Virgin
Islands, really recommend it,
One day, in a year or ten, I hope to retire here, well, one
can hope (smile).
At least they seem to enjoy my Scottish Music, Ballads,
and Melodies - I played a couple of times at Bogeys' &
Off The Wall.
It seemed an odd place to find folks with a love of
Scottish Music, but who am I to complain?
Our Personal Re-Design of
"This Old House"
Ok, I supplied the music for others
to work to, and helped on the
design and what clean up I could.
- but it turned out great (I think) -
Thank you E-BAY !!! (The oven -
for example - was only 50 pounds).

Music is simply something I have been told I have in my soul, and being a Scot, I tend to enjoy music.
My personal favourites are ballads and love songs, (I enjoy the Scots history and tales of daily life that are told by
these songs).
I'll even research periods and events from time to time and try to compose a song or two from these Internet
wanderings (You'll find those under the button - Hazels Own).
I believe everyone has a gift, I have been lucky in that everyone tells me I have found mine in my music.
